Magdalena Dove

What's New Fabric

Magdalena Dove shows a bold geometric lattice in softly layered taupe and dove tones, with a dry, textured surface that keeps the pattern looking refined rather than shiny. The repeating vertical motif reads crisp and tailored against the lighter ground.

About this fabric

This fabric is supplied at 145cm wide and has a 32cm pattern repeat, giving the design a strong, orderly rhythm across larger pieces. The composition of 54% viscose, 26% cotton and 20% pol helps create the fabric's slightly slubby, woven feel and the subtle sheen you can see catching on the raised threads. In this Dove colourway, the ground sits in a pale stone-grey taupe while the pattern is drawn in a deeper brownish grey, so the contrast feels calm and architectural rather than harsh. It is a smart, versatile choice for furnishing schemes that need pattern without losing a neutral palette.

How to use it

Use it on a statement chair, banquette or cushions where the large geometric repeat can be seen clearly. The cool dove-taupe ground pairs well with pale oak, charcoal, linen and other soft neutrals.

A muted tonal geometric that works beautifully on tailored upholstery or relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
