About this fabric

The colour reads as a warm, understated greige: lighter than charcoal but deeper and more nuanced than a flat pale grey. A minute, even woven grain is visible across the surface, creating subtle tonal movement rather than a printed pattern. At 387 gsm, Allegra Nickel has a substantial handle suited to upholstery applications. The 143 cm usable width and zero vertical and horizontal pattern repeat provide a clean, uninterrupted ground, while the weave measures 27.6 threads per cm.

How to use it

Use Allegra Nickel on a tailored sofa, dining chair or headboard where its softly warm grey tone can temper darker timber and bring quiet structure to a neutral room. Pair it with chalky whites, mushroom shades and brushed metal for a restrained, contemporary scheme.

A substantial, finely woven greige for calm, tailored upholstery schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
