About this fabric

The colour reads as warm oyster taupe, sitting between beige and soft grey rather than appearing stark or creamy. A closely woven, subtly cross-hatched texture is visible across the surface, with fine threads catching the light very gently. At 198gsm and 153cm usable width, it has the versatile weight of a fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery. The vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are both 0cm, confirming its plain, non-directional appearance.

How to use it

Pair Ario Oyster with chalky whites, warm timber and layered natural neutrals for a restrained, light-toned room. Its muted taupe depth also works well on a relaxed armchair or full-length curtains where the fine weave can be seen up close.

Use the warm oyster-taupe tone to soften tailored upholstery or bring quiet texture to natural-light curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
