About this fabric

The 198 gsm cloth has a balanced, closely woven surface, with the fine vertical and horizontal threads visible across the pumice-toned ground. No pattern repeat is specified vertically or horizontally, consistent with the uninterrupted plain design shown here. At 153 cm usable width, it offers a practical mid-weight format for both upholstery and drapery. The 48.5 threads-per-centimetre construction gives the surface a neat, restrained texture without a pronounced nap or shine.

How to use it

Use this cool, softened taupe-grey on an occasional chair, headboard or full-length curtain where it can settle alongside timber, chalky whites and deeper grey accents. Its low-contrast weave also makes it useful for bringing quiet texture to a neutral scheme without introducing a visible pattern.

A quietly textured taupe neutral for coordinated upholstery, curtains and blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
