About this fabric

The colour sits between pale oat and natural sand, with a gentle warmth rather than a cool grey cast. A fine linear weave gives the surface a lightly tactile appearance while keeping the overall look calm and unpatterned. At 198 gsm and 153 cm wide, Ario offers a versatile mid-weight suitable for both upholstery and drapery. The supplied specification records 48.5 threads per centimetre, supporting the impression of a closely woven, refined cloth.

How to use it

Pair Ario Sand with warm white, biscuit and pale timber for an airy, tonal scheme, or use it to temper darker walnut and charcoal pieces. Its softly golden beige tone is especially effective on relaxed seating, Roman blinds and full-length curtains.

Use this warm sandy neutral to soften upholstery or filter light through understated curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
