Regina Shell

Belvedere Velvets VelvetHAF0102-01

Regina Shell is a pale shell-beige velvet with a softly mottled surface that shifts gently as the nap catches the light. Its quiet, warm neutrality gives the plain cloth a sense of depth without a visible motif.

About this fabric

The close-up shows a warm beige shade softened with creamy highlights and delicate tonal variation across the velvet surface. With a substantial weight of 675gsm and 53 threads per centimetre, it has the visual presence expected of a robust upholstery velvet. The 140cm usable width provides a generous working surface, while the zero-centimetre vertical and horizontal repeats confirm that this colourway is plain rather than patterned. The low-contrast nap changes are particularly noticeable in the pale shell tone, creating a calm, softly tactile finish.

How to use it

Use Regina Shell on a deep-set sofa, dining chair or upholstered headboard where its warm pale-beige tone can brighten the room without feeling stark. Pair it with chalky whites, natural timber and muted taupes to echo the subtle cream-and-beige movement in its surface.

A warm shell-beige velvet with gentle tonal movement and a softly luxurious finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
