Chocks Away Stone

Book of Little Treasures Fabrics FabricHAF0033-01

Chocks Away Stone pairs a muted stone-beige ground with small white aeroplanes, creating a gentle vintage aviation pattern with a distinctly quiet look. Fine grey linework adds definition around the aircraft without disturbing the pale, airy balance.

About this fabric

The evenly spaced aircraft include recognisable monoplanes and larger four-engined silhouettes, picked out in white with delicate grey detailing. This colourway reads soft and lightly weathered rather than stark: the stone ground has a cool grey-beige cast, while the white motifs catch the light cleanly. At 328 gsm and 31 threads per cm, it has the substance of a versatile mid-weight textile for upholstery or drapery. The 130 cm usable width is paired with a 46 cm vertical repeat and 44.5 cm horizontal repeat, so the aviation layout remains clearly legible across a project.

How to use it

Use the stone-beige ground for relaxed blinds, cushions or occasional upholstery in a child's room, study or travel-themed space. Pair it with chalky white, natural oak and faded blue-grey accents to bring out the colourway's quiet, archival feel.

Use this soft stone ground with warm whites, pale woods and relaxed vintage furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
