About this fabric

This plain woven fabric reads as a gentle oat shade, warmer than a cool cream but lighter and softer than a conventional beige. The fine surface texture is visible as delicate horizontal grain rather than a drawn motif, and the light catches it with very subtle tonal variation. At 198gsm and 153cm usable width, it is a versatile mid-weight suitable for both upholstery and drapery applications. There is no pattern repeat, with both the vertical and horizontal repeats recorded as 0cm; the fabric has a dense 48.5 threads-per-centimetre construction.

How to use it

Use Ario Oat to soften a room with warm ivory walls, pale timber and natural textures, or pair it with deeper camel and tobacco accents for gentle tonal contrast. Its unpatterned oat surface is particularly useful on relaxed seating, cushions or full-length curtains where a quiet neutral is preferred.
