Tetbury Stripe Indian Oak

Highgrove by Sanderson Stripes FabricSAF0479-09

Tetbury Stripe Indian Oak pairs a warm oat-beige ground with narrow walnut-brown vertical stripes for a neat, understated look. The result feels quietly tailored, with the stripe reading crisp rather than bold.

About this fabric

This Sanderson stripe is woven as a substantial fabric, with a 460 gsm weight and 21 threads per cm giving it a firm, cloth-like handle. The usable width is 142.5 cm, and the pattern repeats every 2.5 cm across the width with no vertical repeat. In this colourway, the creamy beige ground keeps the design light and natural, while the darker brown lines add definition without harsh contrast. The weave has a dry, textural appearance that suits both furnishing and window applications where a structured stripe is wanted.

How to use it

Use it on an occasional chair, bench cushion or tailored curtains where the warm neutral ground can soften darker timbers and antique finishes. It works especially well with oak, putty, tobacco leather and brushed brass.

A compact stripe in warm oat beige and walnut brown that feels neat, tailored and easy to layer.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Tetbury Stripe Indian Oak without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
