Boho Velvets Oyster

Icaria and Boho Velvets VelvetSAF0133-14

Boho Velvets Oyster reads as a soft, sandy beige with a gentle warm cast and a low, velvety sheen. The close-up pile gives the surface a quietly mottled depth rather than a flat solid colour.

About this fabric

This Sanderson velvet has a substantial handle, with a recorded weight of 765 gsm and a usable width of 140 cm, making it well suited to upholstery work. The pile catches the light softly, so the oyster beige tone shifts between warm stone and muted champagne as you move across the surface. With 48 threads per cm and no pattern repeat, it presents as a plain velvet with fine texture rather than a printed design. The overall effect is calm and understated, with enough richness to lift it above a basic neutral.

How to use it

Use it on a slipper chair, headboard or bench where its warm oyster tone can soften sharper shapes. It pairs naturally with pale oak, linen whites and darker accent woods for a relaxed, layered scheme.

A quiet oyster tone that softens a room and lets textured layers do the talking.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
