About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric has a substantial 460gsm weight and a usable width of 142.5 cm, making it a convincing choice for upholstery as well as other tailored interior uses. The stripe runs in narrow vertical lines with a 2.5 cm horizontal repeat, so the pattern reads as crisp and orderly rather than bold or oversized. In this Gritstone colourway, the cream base is warmed by beige and taupe pinstripes, creating a muted greige effect that feels understated and easy to live with. The woven texture is visible in the close stripes and subtle thread variation, which softens the design and gives it a tactile, cloth-like depth.

How to use it

Use it on a compact armchair, dining seats or a headboard where the fine stripe can add structure without overpowering the room. It works especially well with chalky whites, weathered oak and soft sage or stone-painted walls.
