Highgrove Stripe Madder
Highgrove by Sanderson Stripes FabricSAF0478-02
Highgrove Stripe Madder pairs a warm madder pink with a soft neutral ground for a stripe that feels tailored and lively. The repeated bands and fine pinstripes give the design a crisp, heritage look.

About this fabric
This Sanderson fabric has a usable width of 141.5 cm, a 20 cm horizontal pattern repeat and a substantial 460 gsm weight, so it sits firmly in upholstery territory. The stripe combines broad madder pink bands with narrow coordinating lines, all set against a warm cream-beige ground that keeps the colour looking rich rather than harsh. The weave reads textured and slightly dry, which softens the contrast and gives the surface a woven, cloth-like depth. With 21 threads per cm, the cloth looks closely woven and neatly defined, suited to smart seating and bench cushions.
How to use it
Use this madder stripe on a chair or sofa where the vertical rhythm can be seen, then bring in linen, oak and muted stone tones to balance its warmth. It also works well in a country-house scheme with check, ticking or plain neutrals nearby.
Pair with warm neutrals or aged wood to let the madder stripes stand out.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Highgrove Stripe Madder without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
