Lymington Damask Redcurrant
Lymington Damasks and Stripes FabricSAF0010-14
Lymington Damask Redcurrant is a richly toned damask with a softly faded, berry-red look and a classic repeating floral medallion. The pattern reads clearly across the cloth, but the colour keeps it feeling warm rather than sharp.

About this fabric
This Sanderson fabric has a substantial 340gsm body and a usable width of 142 cm, giving the damask a well-balanced presence for furniture pieces and tailored soft furnishings. The repeat is 42 cm vertically and 36 cm horizontally, which creates a regular, formal rhythm in the scrolling floral motifs visible in the image. Its redcurrant shade sits between deep rose and ripe berry, with a slightly muted finish that softens the contrast and makes the pattern feel layered rather than loud. With 230 threads per cm, the surface looks finely woven and crisp, supporting the ornate design without losing definition.
How to use it
Use this redcurrant colourway on an armchair, banquette or scatter cushions where a warm, jewel-like tone can hold its own. It pairs especially well with dark timber, brass and plain linens in cream or taupe.
Use on statement seating or formal cushions to bring a rich, jewel-toned lift.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Lymington Damask Redcurrant without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
