About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Orwell Weaves collection has a substantial handle, with a measured weight of 841 gsm and a dense 107 threads per cm, which makes it feel especially suited to upholstered pieces. The 140 cm usable width and compact 1.5 cm vertical and horizontal repeat support precise cutting for seats, cushions or tailored soft furnishings. Visually, the colourway combines a muted red ground with pale, yarn-dyed highlights, so the pattern has depth without looking bold or glossy. The small repeating zigzag creates a neat herringbone effect that adds texture and movement while staying disciplined and smart.
