About this fabric

Part of Sanderson’s Orwell Weaves collection, Hinton Raw Chocolate is a fabric with a usable width of 140 cm and a compact 1.5 cm vertical and horizontal repeat. Its 841 gsm weight and very high thread count of 107 threads per cm point to a dense, durable weave suited to hard-working upholstery. Visually, the colourway balances rich cocoa brown with lighter natural yarns, creating a mottled, textural surface rather than a flat solid. The result is a smart, earthy fabric that reads warm and understated, with the pattern still visible at close range but calm from a distance.

How to use it

Use this chocolate colourway on an armchair, banquette, or dining seats where the small herringbone can add quiet structure. It pairs especially well with oak, walnut, and softened neutrals, bringing warmth without feeling heavy.
