Lavanga Oak

Sabu Stripes and Ikats FabricSAF0534-03

Lavanga Oak shows a neat all-over motif in warm terracotta brown, set against a soft ivory ground that keeps the design feeling light. The small repeating pattern gives the cloth a tidy, tailored look rather than a heavy one.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric has a usable width of 137 cm, a vertical repeat of 15.5 cm and a horizontal repeat of 12.5 cm, with a substantial 376 gsm weight and 33 threads per cm. In the swatch, the ground reads as creamy ivory with a gently woven texture, while the repeated motif lands as a muted oak and terracotta brown. The tiny damask-like forms are evenly spaced, creating a disciplined spot pattern that feels ordered and classic. Its weight gives it the body expected for upholstery, especially on smaller seating and structured cushions.

How to use it

Use Lavanga Oak where you want pattern without visual noise: an armchair, dining chairs or a boxed cushion will show the neat repeat well. The warm brown on ivory pairs easily with walnut wood, tan leather and soft neutral paint colours.

A crisp ivory ground with warm terracotta-brown motifs for a tidy, classic room scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
