About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Sabu Stripes and Ikats collection is a substantial 376 gsm textile with a usable width of 137 cm, giving it the body expected of an upholstery cloth. The small, repeated motif is set in a 15.5 cm vertical and 12.5 cm horizontal repeat, creating an orderly rhythm across the surface. Visually, the colourway sits between saffron and ochre, with a warm turmeric tone that feels sunny without turning brash. The pale base keeps the design airy, while the dense weave and crisp motif edges add a refined, smart character.

How to use it

Use it on a chair, ottoman, or headboard where the turmeric accents can bring warmth to cream, oak, or painted wood. It also works well as a statement cushion fabric in rooms that need a sharper hit of colour against calm neutrals.

A bright turmeric motif lifts the soft ground with a crisp, tailored finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
