About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric has a usable width of 139 cm and a substantial 220 gsm weight, giving the cloth enough body for loose covers, cushions, and relaxed curtains as well as light upholstery applications. The pattern repeat is 11.5 cm vertical and 13.5 cm horizontal, which helps the tiny teardrop ikat marks read in a steady grid across the blue-and-cream check. In this colourway the indigo sits cool and grounded against a soft madder-inflected blue, while the pale ground keeps the design bright rather than dark. The weave appears clean and closely worked, with a slightly dry, textile character that suits the hand-drawn look of the motif.

How to use it
