Emiko Blue

Sanderson Home Fabrics FabricSAF0096-04

Emiko Blue shows a narrow vertical stripe with a softly weathered, woven look. The blue reads cool and muted, lifted by pale natural-toned bands that keep the pattern light.

About this fabric

This Sanderson Home Fabrics textile has a useful 140 cm width and a substantial 385 gsm weight, making it feel more like an upholstery cloth than a sheer decorative fabric. The stripe is tightly set, with a 0.7 cm horizontal repeat and no vertical repeat, so the pattern reads as neat and orderly across the surface. In this colourway the blue is dusty and slightly chalked, sitting between denim and slate, while the lighter stripes bring in a warm oat tone that softens the overall effect. The weave has clear texture and a small-scale rhythm, giving the fabric a calm, structured appearance rather than a crisp, high-contrast stripe.

How to use it

Use Emiko Blue on an armchair, bench or dining seat where the muted blue stripe can add pattern without feeling loud. It would also suit relaxed curtains or Roman blinds in a room with pale wood, stone or off-white finishes.

A quiet blue stripe with a slightly textural, woven finish that feels easy and usable.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
