About this fabric

This Bampton fabric by Colefax and Fowler is woven in a versatile blend of 51% cotton, 16% polyester, 14% viscose, 12% linen and 7% wool, giving the surface a subtle natural texture. The design has no visible repeat at approximately V 0cm / H 0cm, so the effect reads as an even all-over ground rather than a patterned cloth. In this Old Blue colourway, the shade appears pale, dusty and slightly greyed, with a softly mottled look that catches the light without becoming bright. At approximately 140cm wide, it is a practical fabric for schemes that need a gentle colour with a restrained, woven character.

How to use it

Use this blue for relaxed upholstery, loose covers or tailored curtains where a quiet colour is wanted without losing texture. It pairs especially well with pale oak, warm white and deeper navy accents to bring out its cool, airy tone.
