About this fabric

This Bampton fabric is woven in a muted slate-blue tone that reads cool and calm rather than bright or nautical, with tiny specks of lighter yarn giving the surface quiet depth. The cloth has a regular, close weave that feels more substantial than a sheer, yet still light enough to suit curtains and relaxed upholstery alike. Its composition of 51% Cotton, 16% Polyester, 14% Viscose, 12% Linen and 7% Wool gives it a natural, slightly nubby handle and a softly textured look. With a repeat of 0cm vertical and horizontal and an approximate width of 140cm, it presents as a clean, plain upholstery fabric with no visible pattern to interrupt the colour. The √BM fire code and care code Q 8 < T 3 complete a specification that is practical as well as elegant.

How to use it

Use it for tailored loose covers, cushions or lined curtains where the cool blue-grey will sit comfortably with oak, chalky neutrals and brushed metal finishes. It also adds a restrained note to modern country schemes, especially alongside linen whites and deeper inky accents.
