This Bampton fabric from Colefax and Fowler is a 140cm wide textile with no visible repeat, making the plain ground feel clean and continuous across a scheme. The composition combines 51% Cotton, 16% Polyester, 14% Viscose, 12% Linen and 7% Wool, which helps explain the fabric’s natural matte softness and gentle body. In this colourway, the cream tone has a warm, slightly buttery cast that sits closer to ivory than chalk white, with the weave catching light in a subtle, low-contrast way. With no performance features noted, it suits interiors where the priority is a refined natural look rather than a technical finish.

How to use it
