Verne Blue

Byron Fabric

Verne Blue in Byron pairs a softly faded blue zigzag with warm neutral ground tones for a calm, easygoing look. The weave has a lightly textured finish that gives the pattern a gently worn, relaxed feel.

About this fabric

This fabric is supplied at 140cm wide with a 55cm pattern repeat and a composition of 91% polyester and 9% cotton. In this colourway, the zigzag motif reads as a muted dusty blue, broken up by pale cream and taupe grounds that keep the design light rather than contrasty. The visible texture softens the edges of the chevron bands, so the pattern feels settled and slightly rustic rather than sharp. With no performance features noted, it works especially well where the decorative effect and the fabric's easy blended handle are the priority.

How to use it

Use Verne Blue to bring quiet movement to a neutral scheme, especially with bleached woods, linen upholstery and soft grey paint. Its cool, faded blue tone keeps the zigzag lively without overpowering a room.

A breezy zigzag that suits relaxed upholstery or curtains with a coastal feel.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
