About this fabric

This Verne Rosso colourway from the Byron collection shows repeating chevrons in muted rose pink, set against a pale ivory ground with beige and taupe accents. The woven texture has a lightly slubbed, tactile surface that softens the pattern and keeps the design from feeling harsh. With a width of 140cm and a 55cm pattern repeat, it is a practical printed-look textile for measured pattern placement. The 91% polyester and 9% cotton composition suggests a versatile cloth with a neat finish, while the overall effect stays calm and slightly vintage rather than bright or sugary.

How to use it

Use it to bring warmth to a smart banquette, occasional chair or cushions, where the dusty pinks can lift neutral upholstery without overpowering the room. It also works well in schemes with plaster, oak and soft stone colours, where the rose notes can read elegant and inviting.

The softened rose zigzags give a tailored look with an easy warmth.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
