About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton and supplied at 140cm wide with a 45cm pattern repeat, Como Cherry has the practicality of a classic furnishing cotton. The print shows loose grey-brown branches carrying clustered blossom in a vivid cherry red, with the pigment sitting crisply against the pale ground. The brushy petals have a slightly broken, textured look that softens the intensity of the red and keeps the overall effect lively rather than heavy. It reads as a smart floral with enough clarity for statement upholstery, yet it will also work well where a lighter decorative cotton is needed.

How to use it

This colourway works especially well in rooms that need a lift, bringing warmth to neutral upholstery or a chair in a pale timber interior. Pair it with cream paint, ash wood and restrained red accents to echo the blossom without making the scheme feel busy.

Use with oak, linen and muted pinks for a fresh but tailored look.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
