Verne Terracotta

Byron Fabric

Verne Terracotta brings a lively zigzag rhythm in warm terracotta, softened by pale ground tones and grey accents. The woven look gives the design a slightly textural, tailored feel.

About this fabric

Woven in a 91% polyester, 9% cotton blend, this fabric has a practical finish and a width of 140cm, making it suitable for both upholstery and drapery projects. The 55cm pattern repeat creates broad, stepped zigzag bands that read clearly across the cloth. In this terracotta colourway, the coral-leaning orange sits against ivory and misty grey, so the design feels warm but not heavy. The visible weave adds a brushed, slightly slubbed texture that keeps the chevron motif from looking too crisp or graphic.

How to use it

Use this colourway to warm up neutral sofas, dining chairs or loose covers, where the terracotta bands can add colour without overwhelming a room. It also works well with oak, linen and soft stone shades, echoing the fabric’s earthy warmth.

A warm terracotta zigzag lifted by soft grey and ivory for easy layering.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
