Ludlow Indigo

Cascata Fabric

Ludlow Indigo shows a neat, small-scale damask-like pattern in a cool indigo ground with pale woven motif. The contrast gives the fabric a crisp, ordered look without feeling harsh.

About this fabric

Woven in a 50% polyester, 50% cotton blend, this 140cm-wide fabric has a compact 1.2cm vertical by 2cm horizontal repeat. The visible surface reads as a tidy jacquard-style pattern, with the pale motif standing out against a muted blue ground that sits between denim and slate. That cooler, restrained indigo tone gives the design a smart, tailored character, while the small repeat keeps it visually busy in a refined way. With no performance features noted and a cotton-rich handle, it is well suited to schemes that want pattern without excess weight.

How to use it

Use Ludlow Indigo on a clean-lined armchair, bench cushion, or Roman blind where the small repeat can read clearly. It works especially well with natural oak, warm white walls, and textured neutrals that soften the cool blue.

Pair with pale woods and chalky neutrals to let the crisp indigo ground stay fresh.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
