Hemsby Lichen

Sanderson Home Fabrics FabricSAF0263-01

Hemsby Lichen pairs a calm, linen-look ground with a crisp diamond lattice in chalky ivory and muted yellow links. The result is an orderly geometric with a warm, quietly fresh feel.

About this fabric

This Sanderson Home Fabrics design is a textile fabric with a usable width of 133.5 cm and a 30 m standard roll length. The visible weave has a subtle slub and a natural, linen-like surface, while the geometric motif is set out in a medium-scale diamond repeat of 23.5 cm vertically and 19.3 cm horizontally. The lichen colourway reads as a pale beige-grey base with creamy white bands and small mustard-yellow crossbars, giving the pattern a gentle lift without becoming bold. At 590 gsm and 31 threads per cm, it has a substantial, tightly woven handle that suits tailored furnishing use.

How to use it

Use it on an accent chair, banquette or cushions where the soft beige ground and yellow accents can brighten stone, oak or painted joinery. It also makes an easy smart drapery choice in a calm neutral scheme, especially with warm whites and natural woods.

A tailored neutral that works well on clean-lined seating or soft window dressing.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
