Havelock Platinum

Essential Weaves Vol 1 FabricEWV1HAVELOCK

Havelock Platinum has a calm, light-reflective look with a finely striated texture that reads as soft platinum ivory on the surface. The subtle vertical movement gives the cloth a tailored, understated finish.

About this fabric

Woven in 68% polyester and 32% cotton, this Ashley Wilde fabric is supplied for drapes only and has a width of 140cm. The surface shows a delicate textural striation rather than a bold pattern, with the pale neutral ground broken by whisper-soft grey-beige flecks that create depth without heaviness. At 237gsm and 332 grams per linear metre, it has enough substance to hang neatly while still feeling suitable for window dressings. The 17cm vertical repeat and 11.5cm horizontal repeat confirm the ordered woven rhythm seen in the image, giving this colourway a restrained, contemporary finish.

How to use it

Use Platinum where you want the window to feel bright, polished and quietly textural rather than patterned. It works especially well against warm woods, chalky paint colours and brushed metals.

A quietly elegant neutral for tailored curtains and pared-back schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
