About this fabric

Part of Ashley Wilde’s Essential Weaves Vol 1 collection, Havelock Ivory is a textile fabric with a 68% polyester and 32% cotton composition and a 140cm width. It is specified for drapes only, and the swatch shows a gentle ivory tone with a warm, creamy cast rather than a bright white. The subtle vertical texture catches the light delicately, adding depth without introducing a strong motif. At 332 grams per linear metre and 237 grams per square metre, it has enough substance to hang with body while still suiting soft window dressing. Pattern repeats are 17cm vertically and 11.5cm horizontally, though the overall effect remains restrained and largely textural.

How to use it

Use Havelock Ivory for full-length curtains, Roman blinds or sheers layered with heavier drapery where a pale, warm neutral is needed. Its soft ivory tone works especially well with oak, chalky paint finishes and calm, contemporary interiors.
