Mezerac Anthracite

Deauville Fabric04984-07

Mezerac Anthracite reads as a soft ivory cream ground with fine, evenly spaced dark pinstripes. The result is crisp and tailored, with enough warmth in the base cloth to keep it from feeling stark.

About this fabric

Woven in a 47% Linen, 25% Viscose, 11% Polyamide, 10% Cotton, 7% Bamboo composition, this Deauville fabric has a dry, natural handle with a smooth, refined finish. The stripe repeats vertically with an approximate 8cm horizontal repeat, creating a calm, measured rhythm across the width. At approximately 132cm wide, it is an easy cloth to plan for both upholstery and drapery where a neat directional stripe is wanted. The Anthracite colourway shows the stripe in a cool dark grey against a pale cream ground, giving the cloth a restrained contrast and a very clean, contemporary look.

How to use it

Use it on upholstered dining chairs, a tailored headboard or Roman blinds where the narrow stripe can read sharply. The pale cream ground keeps the look light, while the anthracite line adds structure to otherwise soft neutral rooms.

A quietly tailored stripe that works beautifully on upholstered pieces and relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
