About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, Honfleur Soleil has the dry, natural handle that suits both tailored soft furnishings and relaxed seating. The pattern repeat is approximately V 1cm / H 1cm, creating a fine checked surface that reads as lively at close range but calm from a distance. Its warm yellow thread sits over a pale cream ground, so the overall effect is airy, honeyed and gently faded rather than bold. At approximately 152cm wide, it is a practical fabric for a range of interior applications, and the Q 8 + T 3 care code and √BM fire code are supplied for specification use.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want a little summer light without a strong statement: café curtains, dining chairs or loose covers all suit its small-scale check. It pairs especially well with painted woods, straw tones and soft whites.

A cheerful linen check that works well on relaxed upholstery or light curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
