About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, Honfleur Mer has the dry, natural handle and softly slubbed texture that suit an easy, refined interior. The tiny repeat, approximately V 1cm / H 1cm, creates a close pin-checked surface rather than a bold pattern, so the effect reads quietly from a distance and more intricately up close. Its washed blue and pale ground keep the overall tone airy and restrained, with just enough contrast to define the check. At approximately 152cm wide, it is a practical fabric for either curtains or upholstery where a light, tailored look is wanted. The Q 8 + T 3 care code and √BM fire code add useful specification detail for residential schemes.

How to use it

Use Honfleur Mer for slipcovered seating, bench cushions or simple roman blinds where its small-scale blue check can bring freshness without visual weight. It pairs especially well with chalk white paint, driftwood tones and pale oak for a crisp, maritime feel.

A crisp tiny check in a calm washed blue, ideal for tailored chairs or light, breezy curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
