Buci Mer

Domino FabricM4167-08

Buci Mer shows a tiny all-over abstract pattern in a soft powder blue, with a pale ground that keeps the design feeling light and airy. The close repeat gives it a finely textured look rather than a bold statement.

About this fabric

Buci Mer from the Domino collection by Manuel Canovas is a 136cm-wide fabric composed of 52% viscose, 39% cotton and 9% polyamide. The surface reads as a compact, irregular motif in pale blue on a misty off-white ground, creating a cool and gently speckled effect. Its 18cm vertical and 17cm horizontal repeat gives the pattern a steady rhythm without making it feel large or graphic. The blend suggests a smart decorative textile with a soft handle and enough body to suit both upholstery and drapery applications. The overall impression is fresh, restrained and lightly textured, with the blue staying soft rather than saturated.

How to use it

Use this colourway to bring a clean, tailored note to a sofa, armchair or Roman blind, especially alongside chalky whites and pale woods. Its powdery blue tone also sits neatly with grey, linen and brushed metal finishes.

A cool, quietly patterned blue that works well on tailored upholstery or elegant curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
