Rivage Indigo reads as a fresh, tailored stripe, with cool indigo bands set against a pale, slightly silvery ground. The overall effect is crisp and airy rather than heavy.

About this fabric

This stripe fabric has a refined woven texture that lets the blue sit softly against the lighter background, giving the surface a calm, coastal feel. The design repeats vertically with an approximate 17cm horizontal repeat, and the cloth is an approximate 136cm wide. Made from 45% cotton, 45% linen and 10% polyester, it has the natural character of cotton-linen with a little added stability. The cool indigo tones are softened by the paler stripes, so the pattern feels smart without becoming stark.

How to use it

Use Rivage Indigo on Roman blinds, cushions or tailored occasional upholstery where the clean stripe can bring order and freshness. Its pale blue and ivory palette works especially well with painted wood, oak and other quiet neutrals.

Pairs a cool indigo stripe with pale ground tones for a crisp, tailored look.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
