Rivage Ciel

Deauville FabricM4193-02

Rivage Ciel pairs a cool ciel blue with creamy off-white and slim grey-blue stripes for a crisp, airy look. The vertical pattern feels neat and rhythmic, with a soft woven texture that keeps the colourway relaxed rather than sharp.

About this fabric

This Deauville fabric is woven in a 45% Cotton, 45% Linen, 10% Polyester blend, giving the stripe a natural, lightly textural handle with enough body for versatile interior use. The design repeats vertically with an approximate 17cm horizontal repeat and is 136cm wide, making the stripe pattern easy to follow across larger pieces. In this colourway, the pale blue bands read fresh and coastal, while the ivory ground softens the contrast and stops the stripe from feeling too formal. The overall effect is calm and clean, with a slightly tailored finish that still feels easygoing.

How to use it

Rivage Ciel works well on relaxed sofas, bench cushions, or full-length curtains where its cool blue stripes can open up the room. Pair it with chalk white, weathered oak, and sandy neutrals to bring out the light seaside character of the colourway.

Use it for breezy coastal upholstery or fresh curtains where the soft stripes can brighten a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
