Essential Weaves Vol 1 FabricEWV1ALIE

Alie Ivory is a softly luminous ivory cloth with a fine woven surface and a gentle, almost chalky warmth. The close texture gives the colour a calm depth rather than a flat white finish.

About this fabric

Woven in 78% polyester and 22% cotton, this fabric is specified for drapes only and has a width of 140cm. The small-scale weave shows as a subtle diamond-like texture in the image, giving the ivory surface a quiet grain that catches the light without any obvious pattern contrast. At 360gsm, it has enough substance to hang with presence while still reading as a light, airy neutral. With no rub test noted and a 2cm vertical repeat and 1cm horizontal repeat, it is best appreciated for its refined texture and softly tailored look.

How to use it

Use this ivory colourway for relaxed-elegant curtains, especially where you want brightness without stark white. It pairs neatly with pale timber, chalky paint tones and warm stone finishes.

A pale, quietly textured ivory that keeps a room feeling fresh and refined.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
