About this fabric

Woven in India from 78% Polyester and 22% Cotton, Alie Taupe is supplied as a drapes-only fabric, and its 140cm width makes it practical for curtain-making. The cloth has a compact, small-scale texture with subtle vertical and horizontal movement, creating a neat surface that feels measured and refined. In this colourway, the taupe sits in a gentle warm register with pale beige undertones, so it appears soft and muted rather than dark or heavy. With a weight of 360 grams per linear metre, it has enough substance to hang well while still keeping a clean, tailored drape.

How to use it

Use Alie Taupe for relaxed curtains, roman blinds or full-height panels where a quiet, neutral finish is wanted. Its warm, low-contrast tone pairs neatly with oak, stone, putty and other natural materials.
