About this fabric

Slender chalk-white stems, airy umbels and small leafy sprays rise across the muted taupe background, creating a tall, meadow-like pattern. Ebony marks pick out selected flower heads and dotted stems, giving this otherwise pale colourway a crisp point of contrast. With a weight of 226gsm and 31 threads per cm, the cloth has a substantial mid-weight presence suited to both upholstery and drapery. It has a 135cm usable width, with a 63cm vertical repeat and 135cm horizontal repeat for planning pattern placement.

How to use it

Use the soft taupe ground with chalk upholstery, pale timber and warm natural finishes for a calm scheme. Repeat the ebony seedhead accents in a slim occasional table, piping detail or small accessories to give the botanical design definition.

Use this muted botanical colourway to bring gentle structure to upholstery, curtains or cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
