Kasumi Ivory

Colour 1 Fabrics FabricHAF0054-02

Kasumi Ivory is a very pale, softly warm ivory textile with narrow, irregular vertical ridges running through its surface. Light and shadow move gently across the fine texture, giving the cloth a softly dimensional appearance.

About this fabric

The colour reads as clean ivory with subtle grey-beige shadowing in the recessed vertical channels, rather than a strong, saturated cream. Its fine, fluid-looking surface is defined by closely spaced, uneven vertical lines that create a lightly crinkled effect. At 32 gsm, the fabric has a delicate weight suited to drapery, while the 82 threads per cm specification indicates its finely constructed surface. The 290 cm usable width, 30 m standard length and zero-centimetre vertical and horizontal pattern repeats allow the continuous texture to run cleanly across curtain widths.

How to use it

Pair Kasumi Ivory with pale timber, chalky plaster tones and softly tailored furnishings for an airy room where its warm ivory colour prevents the scheme from feeling stark. Hang it full length so the vertical ridges add quiet movement as daylight passes across the cloth.

Use this softly warm ivory as full-length curtains where its fine vertical texture can catch and soften daylight.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
