Honami Linen has a softly layered ivory ground with flowing pale taupe motifs that read almost like a quiet topographic print. The effect is calm and airy, with enough pattern movement to hold interest without feeling busy.

About this fabric

This Kyoto fabric by Larsen is woven at approximately 132cm wide and combines 38% cotton, 29% polyester, 18% viscose and 15% linen, giving the cloth a natural-looking handle with a refined finish. The design shows large, horizontal organic shapes in a gentle warm ivory and pale mushroom tone, separated by a lighter textured ground that catches the light subtly. Its broad repeat of V 91cm / H 132cm approx gives the pattern an expansive rhythm, making the swatch feel composed rather than delicate. With care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code K, it is a practical decorative textile with a serene, understated character.

How to use it

The soft cream-and-taupe palette works beautifully in rooms with pale oak, limestone or brushed brass, where the pattern can read as texture from afar and detail up close. Use it to soften a contemporary scheme or to bring quiet movement to relaxed upholstery and full-length curtains alike.

Use for tailored drapes or statement upholstery where you want a soft, luminous neutral.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
