About this fabric

Haiku Cream from Larsen’s Kyoto collection is woven in 44% cotton, 38% wool and 18% silk, with an approximate width of 135cm and a vertical repeat of 65cm / horizontal repeat of 135cm. In this colourway the design sits in a very light ivory cream, warmed rather than stark, so the pattern appears as a whisper against the ground rather than a bold contrast. The finish catches the light softly, giving the surface a calm, polished depth that still feels natural and textile-led. With no performance features noted, it is best read as an elegant decorative fabric for scheme-led interiors.

How to use it

Use Haiku Cream where you want a room to feel brighter without moving into a hard white. It works especially well alongside pale woods, putty tones and muted metallic accents, letting the subtle pattern add interest without disturbing a serene palette.

A pale, luminous cream that suits refined upholstery or elegant drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
