Honami Ivory

Kyoto FabricL9415-01

Honami Ivory presents the Kyoto design in a very pale ivory ground with gentle, cloudlike linear forms that sit just a shade darker than the background. The effect is quiet and airy, with the pattern only revealing itself as the light moves across the cloth.

About this fabric

This Larsen fabric is composed of 38% cotton, 29% polyester, 18% viscose and 15% linen, and it comes in an approximate width of 132cm with a repeat of V 91cm / H 132cm. The weave reads as a refined, textile-led surface rather than a flat print, with the motif blending softly into the cloth in a barely-there cream-on-cream contrast. Honami Ivory has a warm, off-white tone that feels calm and understated, while the large-scale abstract pattern gives it enough presence for statement pieces. With care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code K, it is a practical decorative fabric for considered interiors.

How to use it

Use Honami Ivory on a tailored sofa, headboard or armchair where its soft ivory ground will keep the room feeling open. It also works beautifully at the window when you want pattern without losing the light, especially alongside pale timber, stone or chalky paint colours.

A warm, airy ivory that softens the bold linear pattern and suits calm, layered schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
