Haiku Sea Glass
Kyoto FabricL9420-04
Haiku Sea Glass has a calm, misty green ground lifted by a fine ivory looping motif. The overall effect is airy and softly graphic, with the pattern sitting lightly across the surface.

About this fabric
This Kyoto fabric from Larsen is woven in 44% cotton, 38% wool and 18% silk, giving the cloth a refined handle and a subtle, softly toned finish. The 135cm approximate width and large vertical/horizontal repeat of V 65cm / H 135cm mean the design reads with broad, flowing movement across a window. In this Sea Glass colourway, the ground is a muted green with a cool, pale cast, while the drawn motif appears as delicate chalky lines that keep the look light rather than bold. It feels fresh and composed, with enough depth in the weave to stop the shade from looking flat.
How to use it
Use Haiku Sea Glass for relaxed curtains, blinds or decorative panels where its pale green tone can soften daylight. It pairs especially well with oak, limewash and warm white finishes for a calm, contemporary scheme.
The muted sea-glass tone feels calm and elegant with a crisp, airy pattern.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Haiku Sea Glass without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
