Kyoto FabricL9439-02

Kobe Linen shows the Kyoto design in a warm sandy beige ground, lifted by an orderly ivory geometric motif. The effect is calm and tailored, with the pattern reading clearly against the softly textured background.

About this fabric

This colourway balances a dry, linen-like beige with a lighter ivory design that sits neatly across the surface rather than shouting from it. The woven ground has a natural, slightly muted look, while the repeated motif brings a crisp, architectural rhythm. Made in a blend of 36% viscose, 32% polyester, 20% cotton and 12% linen, it has enough body for confident furnishing without feeling overly heavy. The pattern repeats at approximately V 29cm / H 42cm on a width of about 124cm, so it will suit considered upholstery or decorative soft furnishings where the geometry can be aligned. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code Z are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use this beige-and-ivory colourway on an armchair, banquette or cushion where the pattern can bring structure without overpowering the room. It works especially well with pale timber, plaster tones and muted neutrals.

Pair with oak, chalk white, and natural textures for a calm, tailored finish.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Kobe Linen without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
