Kyoto Copper

Kyoto FabricL9411-03

Kyoto Copper has a warm, sunbaked copper ground that gives the geometric weave real depth and movement. The ivory and dark linework lifts the pattern cleanly, keeping the design sharp rather than heavy.

About this fabric

Woven in a 51% linen, 37% cotton and 12% polyester blend, Kyoto Copper has the natural texture and slight dry handle you can see in the swatch. The pattern runs in vertical repeats of approximately 77cm with an approximate width of 127cm, creating a tall, architectural rhythm across the cloth. This colourway reads as a rich terracotta-copper, softened by pale yarns and punctuated by darker horizontal accents that break up the warmth. It feels tailored and graphic, with enough body for upholstery while still working well for statement drapery. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Kyoto Copper on a pair of occasional chairs, a bench seat or relaxed curtains where the warm terracotta tone can glow against plaster white, tan leather or dark timber. The structured pattern suits contemporary rooms that need colour without losing a measured, tailored feel.

Pair with pale oak or chalky neutrals to let the copper tones and linear pattern stay crisp.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
