Kyoto Clay
Kyoto FabricL9411-02
Kyoto Clay shows a pale clay-beige ground threaded with soft linear texture and calm, stepped geometric marks. The overall effect is warm, airy and understated, with just enough contrast to give the surface movement.

About this fabric
This Kyoto colourway from Larsen is woven in 51% Linen, 37% Cotton and 12% Polyester, giving it a natural, softly textured handle with a little added stability. The design repeats approximately V 77cm / H 64cm, and the large-scale pattern reads as a rhythm of slender vertical striations interrupted by small horizontal bars. In this clay tone, the pattern stays gentle and sun-warmed rather than sharp, so the motif feels relaxed against the pale ground. At 127cm wide, it is a versatile fabric for statement upholstery pieces or substantial drapery where the texture can be appreciated. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact cloth.
How to use it
Use Kyoto Clay with oak, plaster pink or putty finishes for a soft, layered scheme. Its muted warmth also works well with linen plains and brushed metallics where you want pattern without heaviness.
A quiet, textural neutral that adds depth without overpowering a room.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Kyoto Clay without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
