About this fabric
This colourway from Larsen’s Kyoto collection is woven in 79% linen and 21% viscose, giving the cloth a natural-looking body with a softer finish. The repeat is approximately V 40cm and H 42cm, and the design reads as a small-scale striped rhythm rather than a broad statement pattern. Against the soft taupe background, the black accents feel sharp and the pale bars lift the surface without making it harsh. At approximately 127cm wide, it is a versatile textile for furnishing or window treatment where a controlled, elegant pattern is wanted.
How to use it
Use Osaka Ebony to bring definition to pared-back interiors, especially with warm timber, plaster, or stone finishes. Its taupe ground keeps the black-and-ivory detail crisp rather than heavy, so it works well in scheme that needs structure without darkness.
The raised black-and-ivory stripe adds crisp contrast to a calm taupe ground.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Osaka Ebony without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
