Curtis Taupe

Nilton FabricL9127-05

Curtis Taupe is a quietly textural plain with a soft, mottled taupe surface and a warm mushroom undertone. The weave reads understated and even, with just enough variation to give the cloth depth.

About this fabric

Curtis Taupe from Larsen’s Nilton collection is woven in a 47% viscose, 41% cotton, 7% linen and 5% acrylic blend, with a width of approximately 140cm and a straight repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx. Visually, the colour sits between beige and grey, landing on a muted mushroom taupe that feels warm rather than cool. The close weave gives the surface a fine, softly granular texture, while the slight tonal movement prevents it from reading flat. With no performance features noted and a fire code of K, it has the look of a refined everyday furnishing cloth with a natural, fabric-first character.

How to use it

This taupe works well on tailored sofas, armchairs or cushions where you want a calm neutral with more depth than a flat grey. Pair it with oak, bronze and off-white for a layered, softly contemporary scheme.

A versatile taupe that layers easily with timber, stone and deeper earthy accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
