About this fabric

This Tsuga Taupe colourway reads as a muted warm taupe with beige and greige undertones, broken by fine crosswise slubbing that gives the surface quiet movement. The fabric is 143cm wide approx and has a plain repeat, so the texture rather than pattern provides the interest. Its composition of 40% Polyamide, 25% Cotton, 15% Linen, 12% Polyester and 8% Viscose helps explain the dry, gently textural handle visible in the image. With no performance features noted and a Fire Code of K, it is a straightforward upholstery-and-soft-furnishing fabric for schemes that favour calm depth over shine.

How to use it

Use Tsuga Taupe on an occasional chair, banquette or tailored curtain where you want a neutral that feels warmer than grey. It sits neatly with natural woods, parchment whites and darker coffee tones.

A calm, understated taupe that layers easily with oak, linen and deeper brown accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
